EvoRent Scan Assist Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how EvoRent Scan Assist handles information when authorized agency staff use the app with an agency EvoRent account.

Information Collected
EvoRent Scan Assist is a companion mobile app for EvoRent agencies. The app helps authorized staff scan or upload Moroccan CIN and driving license images to auto-fill customer information.
EvoRent Scan Assist is developed and provided by EvoMaro for authorized EvoRent agency users.
The app may process customer fields such as name, phone, CIN number, CIN expiry date, birth date, address, nationality, driving license number, driving license expiry date, and notes.
The app stores a login or session token securely on the device so authorized users can access their agency EvoRent account.
Camera and Gallery Access
The app uses the device camera and gallery only when the user chooses to scan or upload customer document images. Users can retake photos, cancel, or continue manually according to agency workflow.
Document Images and OCR
The app uses OCR on customer document images to extract readable text. Staff must manually review and correct extracted information before saving.
EvoRent Scan Assist does not decide whether a document is genuine and does not make approval decisions. Images and extracted data are used for data entry assistance only.
How Data Is Used
Images and extracted fields are used to reduce manual typing, support review before saving, and assist agency staff with customer data entry.
After saving, the app may upload customer document images and edited customer information to the agency EvoRent tenant account.
Data Sharing
The app communicates only with the agency tenant API at https://{agency_domain}/api/mobile. It never calls EvoRent Manager directly and does not store Manager API keys.
Customer data is sent to the tenant API for the agency EvoRent account selected by the authorized user.
Data Storage and Security
The app stores login/session token data securely on the device. Customer data saved through the app is stored in the agency EvoRent tenant account according to agency configuration and platform controls.
Payments
The app does not include payment or credit recharge inside Android. Scan Assist credit balance may be shown in the app, but recharge is handled outside the Android app through the EvoRent web dashboard.
Data Retention
Data saved to an agency EvoRent account is retained according to that agency use of EvoRent, tenant settings, subscription status, and operational requirements. Unsaved scans or cancelled work may be discarded by the app workflow.
User Control
Users choose when to open the camera, select gallery images, retake photos, review extracted information, edit fields, cancel, or save to the agency EvoRent account. Agency administrators control access according to their tenant permissions.
